Export Payroll Software Data to MYOB

Create customized reports in your Payroll Software by Elite.

Selecting this menu item displays the Export Payroll Software Data window. This will allow you to create an export file (EliteExp.txt) for transferring your Payroll Software information to MYOB.

To create the EliteExport.txt file:

1 Choose Export Payroll Software Data to MYOB from the Activities menu to display the Export Payroll Software Data to MYOB window.

2 Enter the Pay Date of the pay information that you want transferred to MYOB.

3 Click Browse, and select the Drive and Folder where you want the EliteExport.txt file to be placed. Click OK after you have selected the location for the export file.

4 Enter your MYOB account details: Cheque, wages, deduction, super and tax accounts.

5 Only Export Total of Pay run – Select this þ option if you only want to export the total amount of Payroll Software expense to be deducted from MYOB Payroll Software bank account, rather than all of the Payroll Software details.

6 Click Export.

7 Click Yes to confirm that you want to export the Payroll Software information for the pay date specified.

8 Open MYOB and import the EliteExport.txt file.

Select File>Import Data>General Journal Entries. Then locate and choose the export file and select Match All. This will import pay data into MYOB.
