Export Payroll Software Data to Quicken

Customize the detail you need to see in Elite Payroll Software using preferences.

Selecting this menu item displays the Export Payroll Software Data window. This will allow you to create a QIF file (Quicken Interchange File) for transferring your Payroll Software information to Quicken.

 A Quicken Interchange format (QIF) file is a specially formatted file used to import and export transactions into or from a Quicken account register. QIF is one of the formats that Quicken can export data to, and it is the only format that Quicken can import data from.

To create the EliteExport.QIF file:

1 Choose Export Payroll Software Data to Quicken from the Activities menu to display the Export Payroll Software Data window.

2 Enter the Pay Date of the pay information that you want transferred to Quicken.

3 Click Browse, and select the Drive and Folder where you want the EliteExport.QIF file to be placed. Click OK after you have selected the location for the export file.

4 Click Export.

5 Click Yes to confirm that you want to export the Payroll Software information for the pay date specified.

6 Open Quicken and import the EliteExport.QIF file. Please refer to your Quicken manual for additional information on importing files.
