Setup Network Data Path in your Payroll Software

Setup Network Data Path copies your existing data files, reports and tax scales to any folder on a network drive. It is also used to direct other computers to that network location so that they can access the company files. This must be done so other computers on the network can access the company files.

Before you can set up the network data path, you need to:

1 Set up Elite Payroll Software on each computer, ready for network access;

2 Register all copies of Elite Payroll Software to be used on the network; and

3 Set your network connections (see in Network Installation) and create a folder on your network drive so Elite Payroll Software can copy the files across. If the folder does not exist, the Elite Payroll Software files will be copied to the wrong location.
