Sorting a Report in your Payroll Software

Depending on system specifications, process a payroll of 250 employees in Elite Payroll Software in 8 minutes.

To set the sort options of a report:

1 Click on the Sort icon, or select Set Sort Order from the Activities menu.

2 In the Sort By This Field list, select a field to sort the report by. The fields available are the ones that have been placed on the report.

3 If you want to sort by another field as well, select another field from the Then By This Field list.

4 Click Save.

Setting a sort option affects the whole report, and sets what fields Elite Payroll Software will sub-total on.

Example With employee number selected in the Sort By This Field list, Elite Payroll Software will start a new sub-total each time the employee number changes.
